On November 23, a podcast sponsored by Bay Area middle-class radical Steven Zeltzer—a longtime opponent of the Socialist Equality Party—invited Democratic Socialists of America member and Zionist-funded historian Aidan Beatty to promote his scurrilous biography of Gerry Healy. Zeltzer assembled a panel of four other Socialist Equality Party haters to laud Beatty’s hackwork.
After 90 minutes of diatribes against Healy and the SEP, I was finally allowed to speak. Within little more than three minutes, Zeltzer interrupted me to stop my exposure of Beatty’s lies as well as his decade-long reliance on funding from Zionist and pro-Israel organizations.
Despite the disruption, I challenged Beatty to explain his falsification of history and why Zionist foundations funded his anti-Healy and anti-SEP project.
Beatty refused to explain his connections with pro-Zionist organizations. Beatty was also challenged by labor historian Tom Mackaman, who elaborated on Beatty’s historical falsifications, and SEP national secretary Joseph Kishore.
We are posting the audio record of my remarks and those of Mackaman and Kishore, as well as Beatty’s refusal to respond to the issues raised by these speakers.
